Światowy rynek łososia hodowlanego – stan i perspektywy

Abstract

The aim of this paper was to review and analyse the world market for farmed salmon during the period 2009-2014. The study was based on FAO and the statistical offices data of countries having a significant share in the trade of farmed salmon. Review included the following issues: volume of production, volume and value of trade, product category, country of origin. The main producers and importers are Norway and Chile, and the main importers are the United States, Japan, Germany and France. World production of farmed salmon in 2014 was 2323 thousand tons and will rise in near future. / Synopsis. Celem pracy był przegląd i analiza światowego rynku łososia hodowlanego w latach 2009-2014, a także ogólne nakreślenie perspektyw dalszego rozwoju. Badania oparto m.in. na danych FAO oraz urzędów statystycznych państw mających znaczny udział w światowym obrocie łososiem. Przegląd dotyczył charakterystycznych dla tego rynku danych takich jak: wielkość produkcji, wolumen i wartość importu oraz eksportu, forma produktu jak i kraj pochodzenia. Ustalono, że głównymi producentami i eksporterami są Norwegia i Chile, a odbiorcami Stany Zjednoczone, Japonia, Niemcy i Francja. Produkcja w 2014 roku ustaliła się na poziomie 2323 tys. ton a w najbliższych latach będzie rosnąć.
