Issues of single-industry towns development in the sphere of ensuring the access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all (SDG 7). Russian and Swedish best practice

Abstract

Currently, much attention is paid to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in Russia and Sweeden. The article, in particular, considers how those countries archived the SDG goal â„– 7 that plays an important role in ensuring the general access to electric energy, clean fuels and cooking technologies; renewable energy sources and reduction in CO2 emissions. In addition, the article looks into the development of single-industry towns in the countries of the world, as well as their achievement of SDG goal 7. Priority is given to examples of best practices for achieving SDG Goal 7 in single-industry towns in Russia and Sweden.
