Abstract

Den Klimawandel auf 1,5, höchstens aber 2 Grad Celsius zu beschränken, stellt an die dadurch implizierte CO2-Reduktion sowohl zeitlich als auch mengenmäßig eine dramatische Herausforderung dar: Spätestens bis 2050 müssen die globalen CO2-Emissionen auf nahezu null heruntergebracht werden. Der schnelle Weg in eine klimaneutrale Wirtschaft erfordert einen Umbau nicht allein der Energiewirtschaft, sondern der Wirtschaft insgesamt.
