Abstract

Ce rapport dresse un état de la consommation et des effets de l'utilisation des produits phytosanitaires par l'agriculture française. Il est divisé en deux parties. La première consiste en une synthèse des études connues concernant les effets des pesticides et de leurs résidus sur la santé humaine et les écosystèmes. La seconde s'intéresse plus particulièrement à l'utilisation de ces intrants par l'agriculture. Cette dernière est replacée dans son contexte historique et est décrite secteur par secteur. Enfin, une analyse graphique montre l'influence des politiques agricoles passées sur la consommation des pesticides en France.
