Abstract

Current research linking mobility and digital technologies focus on digital nomadism and telework in the post-covid era. This work proposes to shed light on a neglected field: mobility practices within industrial organizations. Theoretically, our study is based on the "New Mobilities Paradigm" analytical framework and methodologically on a set of long-term observations of managers in production plants. The data analysis shows that different dialectics for managers between nomadism and sedentariness, synergy and antagonism, and autonomy and control characterize mobility practices.
