Índices de Competitividad para las Principales Ciudades en Colombia

Abstract

En este documento se expone la construcción de tres índices de competitividad de las principales 23 ciudades en Colombia. Para ello fueron tenidas en cuenta sesenta y nueve variables, relacionadas con los cinco factores de competitividad propuestos: Capital Humano, Ofertas Urbanas, Económico, Social e Institucional. Con el fin de analizar la estructura común de los distintos grupos de variables relacionadas con competitividad de las ciudades y poniendo de manifiesto cuáles son los elementos heterogéneos, se aplica un Análisis Factorial Múltiple para la generación de los índices de competitividad.
