Abstract

The aim of the paper is not so much to describe the structural changes that have occurred (or that are occurring) during a certain period of time, but rather to detect the dynamic forces which drive the process of structural change and to detect the institutions that influence these forces and therefore the areas in which the State can play a role in governing the process.
