Österreichische Entwicklungspolitik 2006. Zivilgesellschaft und Entwicklung

Abstract

Diese Ausgabe der Publikation "Österreichische Entwicklungspolitik" widmet sich dem Schwerpunktthema "Zivilgesellschaft und Entwicklung". Ausgehend von einem partizipativen Ansatz der Zivilgesellschaft am Entwicklungsprozess und dem Trend einer verstärkten Zusammenarbeit auf Regierungsebene werden von verschiedenen internationalen und österreichischen AutorInnen und entwicklungspolitischen Akteuren einerseits die Bedeutung und andererseits die Bedingungen und Möglichkeiten für die konkrete Beteiligung am Entwicklungsprozess dargestellt und vor dem Hintergrund aktueller entwicklungspolitischer Fragen reflektiert. Der zweite Teil der Publikation enthält eine Übersicht über die gesamten Finanzflüsse Österreichs an Entwicklungsländer in den Jahren 2003 bis 2006. Neben der Öffentlichen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit werden auch die privaten Finanzierungen und Investitionen, private Zuschüsse von NGOs sowie erstmals die Rücküberweisungen von MigrantInnen an ihre Familien dargestellt und analysiert.
