Abstract

Los objetivos estratégicos planteados en este documento se interrelacionan entre sí y orientan el apoyo creciente de CAF en infraestructura hídrica resiliente, con una apuesta impostergable para que los países de la región mejoren su institucionalidad y capacidad de planificación, ejecución y gestión de los servicios de agua, saneamiento y riego, a la vez que estén mejor preparados para enfrentar y reducir los riesgos crecientes de sequías e inundaciones, bajo el marco de la gestión integrada de los recursos hídricos. La Estrategia de Agua 2019-2022 de CAF no es estática. Por el contrario, debe entenderse como una propuesta dinámica que se irá nutriendo del diálogo con los distintos actores regionales, así como también a partir de las reflexiones que resulten del debate sectorial internacional, ámbito en el cual CAF se encuentra cada vez más presente.
