Was erklärt die zunehmende Persistenz von Niedriglohnbeschäftigung in Deutschland?

Abstract

Angesichts steigender Lohnungleichheit am unteren Ende der Lohnverteilung hat der Niedriglohnsektor in Deutschland erheblich an Bedeutung gewonnen. Gleichzeitig lässt sich eine Zunahme der Persistenz einer Beschäftigung im Niedriglohnsektor beobachten. Die Ursachen für diese sinkende Aufwärtsmobilität sind indes noch ungeklärt.
