Lohnstückkostenposition der Warenherstellung 2013 durch Wechselkursentwicklung und Konjunkturflaute leicht verschlechtert

Abstract

Die aufgrund der Konjunkturschwäche verhaltene Entwicklung der Beschäftigtenproduktivität hatte 2013 einen Anstieg der Lohnstückosten um rund 2,1% gegenüber dem Vorjahr zur Folge. Zusammen mit der ungünstigen Wechselkursentwicklung (+1,8%) schlug sich dies in einer leichten Verschlechterung der Lohnstückkostenposition der österreichischen Warenherstellung relativ zum Durchschnitt aller Handelspartner nieder. Im Vergleich zu Deutschland ergab sich dennoch wie im Vorjahr eine geringfügige Verbesserung. Längerfristig hat sich die Lohnstückkostenposition der Warenherstellung in Österreich relativ zu den Handelspartnern seit 2003 kaum verändert.
