Österreichs Direktinvestitionen in Osteuropa

Abstract

Der Bestand an österreichischen Direktinvestitionen in den Oststaaten hat sich innerhalb von sieben Jahren fast verzehnfacht: von 5,0 Mrd. S 1990 auf 48,4 Mrd. S 1997. An diesem Bestand war Ungarn mit 41%, Tschechien mit 26%, Polen mit 10% sowie die Slowakei und Slowenien mit jeweils etwa 7% beteiligt. Auf die zehn EU-Beitrittswerber entfielen 1997 93% der Direktinvestitionsbestände in den Oststaaten, auf die fünf Beitrittskandidaten der ersten Runde 85%.
