Abstract

A szerző saját tapasztalataiból kiindulva tárgyalja az interdiszciplinaritás témakörét. Negatív tapasztalatait adatgyűjtésének eredményei megerősítik: a más tudományágra történő hivatkozások aránya igen alacsony a vizsgált négy tudományterületen (közgazdaságtan, jog, politológia és szociológia). Az összképet azonban pozitív példák árnyalják: a racionális választás elmélete áttörte a közgazdasági alkalmazás határát, és a játékelmélet is diszciplínákon túllépő leírási formává nőtte ki magát. Az országok idősorainak többváltozós regressziós elemzését sem csupán gazdasági jelenségekre alkalmazzák. Ezenkívül a közgazdaságtanban mára a "puha" adatok használata is elfogadottá vált. Az interdiszciplináris megközelítés elterjedését mutatja a rendszerparadigmának mint szemléletnek általánossá válása is. A szerző három ajánlással zárja tanulmányát. Legyen minimális jártasságunk a többi tudományterületen, biztassuk az interdiszciplináris munkát, és segítsük elő egy új típusú "társadalomtudós" megjelenését!
