Abstract

"In Zeiten eines steigenden Fachkräftebedarfs wird die Frage immer wichtiger, wie sich Mütter stärker am Erwerbsleben beteiligen können. Eine entscheidende Voraussetzung dafür ist die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf. Hier werden drei Modelle vorgestellt und ihr jeweiliges Potenzial, Frauen stärker für den Arbeitsmarkt zu mobilisieren. Ein Blick in die Vergangenheit zeigt, wie sich traditionelle Erwerbsmuster verändert haben. Untersucht man die heutigen Arbeitszeitwünsche von Frauen und Männern, zeichnen sich neue Entwürfe für eine bessere Balance zwischen Familien- und Erwerbsarbeit ab." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
