Abstract

"Leiharbeiter verdienen im Durchschnitt 40 Prozent weniger als Beschäftigte außerhalb der Zeitarbeitsbranche. Da sich die beiden Gruppen erheblich voneinander unterscheiden, greift dieser einfache Vergleich der durchschnittlichen Löhne jedoch zu kurz. Wenn man die systematischen Unterschiede in den persönlichen Eigenschaften, der Erwerbsbiografie und den Beschäftigungsmerkmalen zwischen den beiden Gruppen berücksichtigt, lässt sich dadurch etwa die Hälfte der Lohndifferenz erklären."
