Sostenibilit? in sanit?: una valutazione degli impatti della telemedicina

Abstract

Questo studio indaga empiricamente gli impatti della telemedicina in termini di sostenibilit? attraverso la prospettiva degli utenti del servizio, delle aziende sanitarie e della societ?. A tal fine ? stata condotta una action research in un ospedale pediatrico coinvolto nell?implementazione di due sperimentazioni di telemedicina (un servizio di telecardiologia, in sinergia con il territorio, e un servizio di dimissioni anticipate in telemonitoraggio) e nella valutazione dei relativi impatti. I risultati dello studio hanno condotto allo sviluppo e valutazione di un framework multidimensionale e multistakeholder, capace di valutare l?impatto e il contributo dei servizi di telemedicina in termini di sostenibilit?, utilizzabile per migliorare l?accountability e i processi decisionali interni ed esterni. I risultati suggeriscono come la telemedicina possa incidere sulle dimensioni della sostenibilit? economica, sociale e ambientale, considerando la prospettiva degli utenti del servizio (pazienti e professionisti), delle aziende sanitarie e della societ? nel suo complesso.
