Industrial co-agglomeration, human capital upgrading, and supply chain efficiency

Abstract

Through an empirical analysis of China’s A-share listed firms, this research investigates how industrial co-agglomeration influences supply chain performance. The findings reveal that industrial co-agglomeration significantly enhances supply chain efficiency. Human capital upgrading amplifies this positive effect, while industrial chain integration exerts a positive moderating role. The effects of industrial co-agglomeration exhibit significant heterogeneity across different institutional environments and innovation modes. This research provides new empirical evidence for understanding regional industrial ecosystems and supply chain synergies.
