Abstract

This study demonstrates that enhanced supply chain cost-sharing capabilities catalyze accelerating firm internationalization, effectively transforming cost burdens into strategic facilitators of global market expansion. Rooted in the amalgamation of the Resource-Based View, Transaction Cost Economics, and Network Theory, the study demonstrates that firms possessing advanced cost-sharing capabilities overcome the dual challenges of financing limitations and operational inflexibility that typically hinder cross-border enterprises, thereby accelerating international progress. The paper identifies two self-reinforcing mechanisms: the alleviation of financial restrictions through improved liquidity and creditworthiness and the enhancement of supply chain resilience via adaptive risk management, which converts cost-sharing from an operational strategy into a dynamic capacity. These findings require a fundamental transformation in academic discussion and management practices, establishing strategic cost collaboration as essential for sustainable global integration during periods of significant change.
