Konjunkturumfragen im Fokus: Coronakrise trifft deutsche Wirtschaft mit voller Wucht

Abstract

Die Stimmung in der deutschen Wirtschaft ist angesichts der Coronakrise derzeit katastrophal. Dies spiegelt sich auch im Absturz des ifo Geschäftsklimaindex Deutschland im April auf ein historisches Tief wider. Auch auf Sonderfragen zu den Auswirkungen der Coronakrise auf die Geschäftslage und die Umsätze der Unternehmen fielen die Antworten sehr negativ aus. Neben einigen besonders betroffenen Branchen, wie die Gastronomie, die Beherbergung und die Reisebranche, zeigen die Ergebnisse, dass auch einige Industriebranchen, wie insbesondere der Fahrzeugbau, stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Als eine Reaktion auf die Krise fährt bereits die Hälfte aller deutschen Unternehmen Kurzarbeit.
