Erfahrungen aus Behördenansiedlungen in strukturschwachen Regionen

Abstract

Durch die Ansiedlung von Behörden und öffentlichen Einrichtungen in strukturschwachen Regionen erhofft sich die Politik, zur Schaffung gleichwertiger Lebensverhältnisse beizutragen. Besonders vom Strukturwandel betroffene Gebiete sollen so durch neue Beschäfigungsmöglichkeiten aufgewertet werden. Die (Neu-)Ansiedlung von Behörden im strukturschwachen Raum kann sich allerdings auch auf verwaltungsinterne Aspekte wie die Effizienz der Verwaltung, die Personalgewinnung oder die Zufriedenheit der Beschäfigten auswirken. Ein Blick in vier neuangesiedelte bzw. verlagerte Behörden zeigt Chancen und Herausforderungen von Behördenansiedlungen in strukturschwachen Regionen sowie Erfolgsfaktoren für die effiziente und zugleich mitarbeiterverträgliche Umsetzung einer Behördenansiedlung auf.
