Unleashing Trends of Artificial Emotional Intelligence: A Bibliometric Analysis Using VOS Viewer

Abstract

Artificial Emotional Intelligence (AEI), an interdisciplinary field combining artificial intelligence and cognitive emotion, has gained significant attention in recent years due to its potential applications in healthcare, education, and human-computer interaction. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to unleash trends, research hotspots, and collaborative networks within AEI using VOSviewer Software (version 1.6.20). By analyzing data from Scopus database with subsequent advanced query: TITLE-ABS-KEY (“Artificial†AND “Emotional intelligence†) that published in the period 2000 to 2025, key insights are derived from co-authorship networks, keyword co-occurrence patterns, and citation analysis.
