Abstract

Gegenstand des Beitrages sind die Ausbreitungsbedingungen und -chancen neuerMobilitätsdienstleistungen zwischen individuellem und öffentlichem Personen-nahverkehr. Thematisiert werden die komplementär gesehenen Mobilitätsdienst-leistungen Car-Sharing und nachgefragegesteuerte ÖPNV-Angebotsformen ohnefeste Route und ohne Fahrplan. Beide Angebotsformen existieren schon seitlängerem, könnten sich aber bei Einsatz bereits heute oder in naher Zukunft ver-fügbarer neuer IuK-Technologien grundlegend ändern und eine zentrale Rolleinnerhalb des Mobilitätssystems übernehmen. Der Abstand zur Nutzung deseigenen Automobils wäre durch eine gegenüber heute signifikant höhereFlexibilität der Nutzungsprozesse und signifikant niedrigere Transaktionskostendeutlich verringert.Der Beitrag geht von der These aus, dass die Grundvoraussetzung für den Erfolgdieser Konzepte ihre Kompatibilität mit der Alltagspraxis ist, d.h. ihre Vereinbar-keit mit spezifischen Handlungsmustern und -regeln, die die Tiefenstruktur vonAlltagshandeln ausmachen. Es wird gezeigt, dass sich im Zuge des gesellschaft-lichen Modernisierungsprozesses diese Tiefenstrukturen im Sinne gestiegenerReflexivität und Rationalität gewandelt haben und vermutlich weiter in dieserRichtung wandeln werden. Die Folge ist eine Differenzierung von Alltagspraxisund Alltagsmobilität. Zusammen mit der Orientierung von neuem Car-Sharingund neuem ÖPNV am Nutzungsstandard des eigenen Automobils ergibt sich soeine Konstellation, die aus einer alltagspraktischen Perspektive gute Aus-breitungsbedingungen für die beiden neuen Mobilitätsdienstleistungen eröffnet.
