Altersvorsorge und Konsumverhalten von Frauen in Deutschland

Abstract

Die Alterssicherung in Deutschland steht auf drei Säulen: der gesetzlichen, der betrieblichen und der privaten Vorsorge. Infolge der demografischen Alterung in Deutschland müssen in Zukunft immer weniger Erwerbstätige immer mehr Rentner finanzieren. Die Renten aus der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung werden daher real voraussichtlich weniger stark steigen als die Erwerbseinkommen - zum Teil sogar sinken. Von der drohenden Versorgungslücke durch die gesetzliche Rentenversicherung sind vor allem Frauen betroffen. In der vorliegenden Studie wird die Altersvorsorge von Frauen in Deutschland analysiert. Neben einem empirischen Befund wird die Entwicklung der Renten aus der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherung bis 2050 prognostiziert und anschließend für Fallbeispiele die Renten von Frauen berechnet. In einem zweiten Teil wird das Konsumverhalten von Frauen untersucht. Anhand von Konsumprofilen werden Konsumtypen identifiziert. Für diese wird gezeigt, wie sich Alters- und Einkommenseffekt auf das Konsumverhalten auswirken. Insbesondere wird gezeigt, in welchen Ausgabenkategorien sich eine drohende Versorgungslücke im Alter niederschlägt und zu einem Verlust an Freiraum führt.
