Critical Minerals Supply Chains: The Case of China’s Electric Battery Industry

Abstract

This report presents an overview of the supply chains of key EV battery critical minerals by examining the electric battery industry of China. It highlights the potential supply chain risks and discusses options to minimize these risks. It then provides several policy recommendations for relevant governments.
