Abstract

ILO pub-WEP pub-PREALC pub. Working paper analyzing trends in public expenditure on rural development, education and health services to satisfy basic needs in Ecuador from 1970 to 1980 - considers the socioeconomic disparities and rural urban disparities in the impact on household income, access to education and health status of expenditure on rural area infrastructure, land allotment, irrigation, agrarian reform, agricultural credit, adult literacy, primary education, secondary education, drinking water, sanitation services, etc. Bibliography.
