Abstract

L'OMC instaure le libre échange. Avec l'ORD, cette organisation est un gestionnaire de l'ouverture des frontières économiques entre les économies nationales, sur la base de la clause de la Nation la plus favorisée. De fait, elle une institution « politique », dominée par les intérêts des pays développés ou émergents. Elle s'avère peu disposée à réduire les inégalités, lesquelles constituent un facteur de blocage de l'économie mondiale. Aujourd'hui, le développement actuel doit être profondément modifié si l'on veut promouvoir un développement soutenable, prenant en compte les évolutions des besoins réels des hommes et leur capacité à les satisfaire.
