Professionnalisation et employabilité des jeunes diplômés universitaires : un plaidoyer pour le projet professionnel et personnel de l’étudiant

Abstract

Le chômage des jeunes diplômés d'universités semble aujourd'hui couronner le processus de formation académique en RDC. Retrouver un jeune diplômé universitaire en chômage ne constitue plus une exception mais plutôt la règle. Contrairement aux différentes théories du capital humain, du filtre ou du signal, les universités n'assurent plus l'employabilité de leurs ressortissants. Ainsi, pour faire face à ce phénomène, en partant d'une démarche analytique, la professionnalisation constitue une des solutions adaptées. Elle se matérialise par l'initiation des étudiants à l'élaboration des projets professionnels personnels dès l'entrée à l'université, lequel les oriente tout le long de leur cursus académique malgré les changements que peut subir ce projet. Dotant l'étudiant des objectifs orientés vers son avenir professionnel, un tel projet permet de connecter également davantage la formation de l'université au monde socio-économique de l'emploi.
