Encadenamientos productivos desde la minería de Chile

Abstract

La minería en Chile presenta grandes potencialidades para desarrollar encadenamientos productivos, tanto hacia atrás como hacia adelante. Esto se debe principalmente a los grandes valores de producción que determinan que la actividad minera en Chile haya representado entre un 13% y un 20,6% del PIB en la última década. En este trabajo se abordan los principales desafíos para la minería en Chile, tanto metálica como no metálica, en cuanto al desarrollo de sus vínculos con sus proveedores y actividades productoras de insumos, como con las actividades manufactureras que utilizan los productos de la minería como insumos aguas abajo.
