Zukunftsfelder für Aus- und Weiterbildung in Wien in Zeiten demografischer, ökologischer und digitaler Herausforderungen

Abstract

In dieser Studie wird die Alterszusammensetzung der unselbständig Beschäftigten in Wien im Vergleich zu den übrigen österreichischen Bundesländern analysiert. Branchenspezifische Unterschiede und mögliche Auffälligkeiten im Anteil älterer und jüngerer Arbeitskräfte sowie herkunftsspezifische Unterschiede werden anhand der Staatsbürgerschaft untersucht. Der Fokus liegt auf den Branchen Bauwesen, Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IKT) und kommunaler Bereich, da hier demografische Veränderungen, Digitalisierung und Ökologisierung besonders relevant sind. Diese Faktoren könnten zu Engpässen führen, die die Versorgungssicherheit, Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und das Erreichen von Klimazielen in Wien bis 2040 gefährden.
