Künftige Knappheit an Fachkräften in Niederösterreich

Abstract

Der niederösterreichische Arbeitsmarkt ist derzeit noch von der internationalen Konjunkturschwäche und der Baukrise geprägt, die Bekämpfung der Arbeitslosigkeit steht deshalb im Mittelpunkt der Arbeitsmarktpolitik. Mittelfristig (2001 bis 2007) wird die Nachfrage nach Arbeitskräften aber um rund 20.000 steigen, und zwar fast ausschließlich nach Fachkräften im Bereich der privaten Dienstleistungen. Damit muss die Forcierung der Bildungs- und Weiterbildungspolitik zur Überwindung der Knappheit an Fachkräften in den Vordergrund treten.
