Abstract
En los últimos cincuenta años el Perú apostó, una y otra vez, por abrir su economía para luego cerrarla. Hemos vivido una permanente indefinición acerca de si los peruanos nos beneficiaríamos o no de ser parte de la economía mundial. Estas indecisiones nos han empobrecido como país porque nuestro mercado interno no es lo suficientemente dinámico y amplio. Hoy se empieza a formar un consenso alrededor de la idea de que el Perú debe integrarse al mundo, si quiere crecer sostenidamente. El Tratado de Libre Comercio con los Estados Unidos servirá para abrir las puertas y acercar mercados dinámicos a nuestros productores.Individual chapters are listed in the "Chapters" tab
