Wirtz’s primary contribution lies in developing innovative analytical frameworks, including the 4C-Net Business Model (Content, Commerce, Context, Connection), the Digital Business 3+3 Audit System, and the Five-Component Model of Digital Automation. The textbook demonstrates exceptional methodological sophistication through multilevel analysis that integrates technological, organizational, and strategic perspectives.
