Abstract

[eng] Sharing of water resources and residential water demand. . Sharing water resources is an issue that cannot be evaded today. We propose a very simple framework to such a problem. Identification of demand functions for different uses play a central role. Starting with residential water demand, and using data for the departement de la Gironde, we build an aggregated demand function taking into account local components. This investigation is just starting, but the first results shed light on the demand shifters and raise some methodological problems regarding aggregation. Nous proposons un cadre d'analyse simple de ce problème. L'identification des fonctions de demande pour les différents usages y joue un rôle central. À partir de l'usage alimentation en eau potable, et sur des données relatives au département de la Gironde, nous construisons une fonction de demande agrégée qui tient compte de l'indispensable dimension spatiale. Ce travail a un caractère largement exploratoire, mais il apporte des éclairages sur les déterminants de la demande et il permet de faire surgir une série de problèmes d'ordre méthodologique.
