Shocks externos y política económica: el caso peruano 1979-1982

Abstract

Países como los nuestros, donde una parte muy importante de sus exportaciones están compuestas por productos primarios, están expuestos a fuertes variaciones en los precios de los mismos, es decir, a shocks externos. Entonces, el presente artículo tratará de mostrar los posibles efectos de un shock externo positivo (centrándose en los temporales) sobre la economía y delinear las posibles acciones de una política económica para enfrentar y aprovechar de una manera positiva estos fenómenos a partir de la experiencia vivida en el Perú en 1979.
