Abstract

The paper focuses on the issue of quality of working life (QWL) and how it relates to the individual efficiency of a work. The paper presents a review of research whose goal is to investigate the statistically significant relationship between selected factors of quality of working life and rate of individual efficiency. For the purpose of the study, 5 factors of QWL were used, namely work safety, carrier growth potential, work environment, social interactions and company benefits. The dependent determinant, individual work efficiency was rated by the direct supervisor on the scale of 1-7. The hypotheses were tested with the help of correlation analysis, the results confirmed most of hypotheses. The research, thus, confirmed the assumption that the level of quality of work life greatly determines the performance of the worker.
