El efecto mediador de la adaptabilidad del empleado al teletrabajo inducido por eventos disruptivos en Puerto Rico

Abstract

Como resultado de los eventos disruptivos de los últimos años, el teletrabajo se ha incorporado como parte de los cambios en el entorno laboral. El propósito de este estudio es investigar si los factores de la empresa y del trabajo influyen en la adaptabilidad al teletrabajo para lograr un desempeño y evaluar si la adaptabilidad del empleado media la relación entre los factores de la empresa y el desempeño laboral del empleado y/o si media la relación entre los factores del trabajo y el desempeño laboral. Se utilizó SmartPLS para analizar una muestra de 374 individuos. Los resultados reflejan que la adaptabilidad ejerce una relación parcial entre los factores del trabajo y el desempeño. Esto implica que la adaptabilidad mantiene efectos directos e indirectos entre los factores del trabajo y el desempeño laboral. Este estudio resalta la importancia de la adaptación efectiva y eficiente del empleado al contexto laboral remoto.
