A nemzetgazdasági és a regionális konvergencia mérése az EU-ban
[Measurement of national economic and regional convergence within the EU]

Abstract

Az elmúlt két évtizedben valamennyi új kelet-közép-európai tagállam egy főre jutó GDP-je közelített az EU-átlaghoz, miközben a nemzetgazdaságokon belül a megyék, régiók közötti jövedelmi különbségek minden országban nőttek - a fejlettebb megyék gyorsabban növekedtek, mint a fejletlenebbek. Mivel a nemzetgazdasági jólétet nemcsak az átlagos egy főre jutó jövedelem befolyásolja, hanem a jövedelmek regionális szóródása is, a makrogazdasági elemzéseket, nemzetközi összehasonlításokat érdemesebb egy korrigált GDP-mutatóval végezni. E tanulmány egy olyan új konvergenciamutató bevezetésére tesz javaslatot, amely tükrözi mind az adott nemzetgazdaság egy főre jutó átlagos GDP-jének felzárkózását, mind a jövedelmek regionális szóródását.
