La trasformazione dei distretti industriali tra catene globali del valore e digitalizzazione

Abstract

Il contributo analizza il processo di trasformazione che ha interessato il modello dei distretti industriali per evidenziare le sfide attuali e le implicazioni per il contesto italiano e in particolare per le regioni del Nord-Est. A partire dalle opportunit? che hanno offerto le catene globali del valore nell?attivazione di processi di upgrading, viene evidenziato il ruolo del contesto territoriale come supporto a processi manifatturieri innovativi. Si intende mostrare come l?evoluzione tecnologica connessa alla quarta rivoluzione industriale abbia rafforzato il modello distrettuale, amplificando il potenziale di connessione e relazione delle imprese distrettuali con il proprio mercato, da sempre foriero di processi innovativi e di costruzione di valore legati alla dimensione simbolica ed esperienziale (produzioni del Made in Italy). Vengono presentate le sfide future che il territorio del Nord-Est sar? chiamato ad affrontare. Il contributo fa leva sui risultati di studi che gli autori hanno sviluppato nel corso degli ultimi vent?anni di ricerche sul tema.
