Abstract

The quest for a green economic revival requires the prudent use of natural resources, a significant factor to consider when countries work through long-term plans to address environmental issues. Based on empirical data, there was a 2.29 % decrease in energy consumption intensity and a 3.19 % decrease in carbon emissions between 2011 and 2020 from China. These results demonstrate the significant influence long-term developmental frameworks with targets for reducing CO2 emissions have on energy conservation and emission mitigation. The paper explores how fiscal policy might improve the efficiency of natural resource utilization within the context of a green economic recovery. Based on a thorough examination of pertinent literature and empirical data, the study highlights the critical role that fiscal policy plays in determining resource efficiency. The investigation’s results clearly show how important it is for fiscal policy to promote resource efficiency and sustainable and ecologically conscious economic recovery.
