Abstract

The paper investigates the interconnectivity of airfreight networks as temporal concentrations at airport. The connectivity of freight transshipments depends on both the quality of connections at hub airports and the quality of indirect flights compared to direct flights. Here connectivity of flight schedules is analyzed using a temporal wave structure to estimate the degrees of connectivity and the quality of connectivity.
