Abstract

This paper examines the impact of e-commerce on regional value chain reconstruction by combining the dynamic panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2009 to 2021. The study finds a significant positive relation between China's e-commerce development and regional value chain reconstruction speed. From a dynamic perspective, there is an inverted ‘U-shaped’ structure between China's e-commerce development and regional value chain reconstruction.
