Climate change and tourism transition: From cosmopolitan to local justice

Abstract

•Justice is mainly discussed in relation to the unequal impacts of climate change.•Tourism transition to net zero emissions brings into view the questions of justice.•Tourism transition requires attention to justice at local and global levels.•Provides a framework for a fair, inclusive and just tourism transition.
