Abstract

Analiza las relaciones entre cooperativismo, participación popular, estilos alternativos de desarrollo y democracia, las posibildades de plantearse el nuevo cooperativismo como un agente social importante en los próximos años, los rasgos específicos del cooperativismo en el contexto latinoamericano y la necesidad de determinar el espacio geoeconómico, cultural, social y político de actuación de las cooperativas.
