El modelo de negocios como reforzador del emprendimiento en las universidades - caso del Tecnológico de Monterrey campus ciudad de México

Abstract

Este artículo revisa el uso del Plan de Negocios como herramienta para ensenar emprendimiento y propone un nuevo enfoque basado en el diseno del Modelo de Negocios acompanado de actividades significativas como un medio para promover el espíritu emprendedor entre los estudiantes universitarios. La propuesta se basa en información de autores destacados sobre el tema, pero sobre todo en el enfoque de Alexander Osterwalder e incluye la aplicación de la teoría del Design Thinking donde los emprendedores requieren pensar de forma tanto divergente como convergente a través de diferentes etapas del conocimiento. Para la validación de la propuesta se basó en una metodología exploratoria para la cual se entrevistó a egresados con empresas. Así mismo, durante un semestre se corrió un piloto en el cual se aplicó el Modelo de Negocio en conjunto con otras actividades en lugar del Plan de Negocios y al término del mismo se entrevistó a alumnos activos de la materia de emprendimiento, y profesores del curso. Se obtuvieron resultados satisfactorios en cuanto al aprendizaje de los alumnos y el fomento al espíritu emprendedor al aplicar el Modelo de Negocios como base del curso, así como el resultado y aceptación de las actividades significativas
