La competencia de liderazgo en gerentes venezolanos

Abstract

Este trabajo describe las representaciones sociales (RS) sobre la competencia de liderazgo en gerentes venezolanos. El enfoque epistemológico se hizo desde la perspectiva interpretativa. Las técnicas de recolección de datos aplicadas fueron entrevistas semi-estructuradas, validadas por expertos, El análisis se realizó, según la técnica empleada por Spink (1994) y Strauss & Corbin (2002). Las categorías emergentes fueron las RS de los gerentes, que se caracterizaron por la figura del líder basado en sus particularidades. El proceso de anclaje amerita la conceptualización del liderazgo como competencia y su representación social en el colectivo de los gerentes de organizaciones públicas y privadas.
