La formación de una tecnocracia pragmática: los inicios de la formación profesional de economistas colombianos

Abstract

Los primeros anos de la Facultad de Economía y el Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo Económico (CEDE) de la Universidad de los Andes son un caso ejemplar de los inicios de la formación profesional de economistas en Colombia. A través de la exploración de archivos reconstruimos los primeros veinte anos de este proyecto educativo e investigativo impulsado por el apoyo de la Fundación Rockefeller para formar economistas profesionales capaces de tratar los temas macroeconómicos del desarrollo.
