doeFitness Benchmarking: Erfahrungsbericht zur Rolle von Benchmarking und Qualifizierungsinitiativen in der Nutzung der neuen Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien im Tourismus

Abstract

Um die nahtlose Integration der touristischen Leistungsträger in die elektronischen Serviceketten zu gewährleisten, müssen das notwendige Wissen und Know-how für die optimale Nutzung der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien bei touristischen Leistungsträgern nachhaltig verbessert werden. Das Projekt „eFitness Benchmarking“ zielt in diese Richtung. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der Ansatz als analytisches Tool wertvoll ist, dass aber Verbesserungsmaßnahmen auf Leistungsträgerebene nur über kundenahe Instrumente (lokale Beratungsinitiativen, spezifische, praxisorientierte Schulungsmassnahmen) ausgelöst werden können. Um zudem den Wissenstransfer in einer sich ständig entwickelnden Domäne nachhaltig zu sichern, scheint die Integration solcher Qualifizierungsoffensiven in Wirtschafts-Wissenschaftspartnerschaften (Wissensnetzwerken) von besonderer Bedeutung zu sein.
