Systemy dodatkowego oszczędzania na starość. Przesłanki, cele i znaczenie ekonomiczne

Abstract

W niniejszym artykule przedstawione zostały argumenty natury demograficznej i ekonomicznej na rzecz tworzenia dodatkowych, prywatnych systemów emerytalnych (DSE) w celu uzupełnienia systemów publicznych i zapewnienia bezpiecznych i godziwych warunków zabezpieczenia społecznego na starość. W ślad za tym zostały omówione główne zasady budowania tych systemów oraz dane dotyczące osiągniętego przez nie zasięgu oraz znaczenia ekonomicznego. Przedstawione dane pozwalają przyjąć, że dodatkowe systemy emerytalne stały się trwałym elementem zabezpieczenia społecznego na starość w wielu krajach i że stanowią one ważny element zasobów finansowych gospodarek tych krajów.
