Weltumweltpolitik: Einführung und Bibliographie

Abstract

»Noch nie zuvor«, vermerkt Henry Kissinger in seinem Essay Die Vernunft der Nationen (1994), »mußten in die Gestaltung einer neuen Weltordnung so unterschiedliche Vorstellungen einfließen, und noch nie zuvor hatte eine Weltordnung eine so globale Dimension.« In der Tat, die neue Ära des ökonomischen, sozialen und ökologischen Globalismus beginnt mit einer verwirrenden Vielfalt von Veränderungen, mit neuen politischen Philosophien, Zielvorstellungen und Akteurskonstellationen. Viele wollen mitmachen und werden mehr denn je darauf einwirken: nicht nur die 192 Nationalstaaten und die großen Regionalgruppierungen, sondern auch eine Vielzahl nichtstaatlicher Akteure, die als lokale, nationale und internationale Verbände, Unternehmen und Institutionen das Geschehen einer neuen Ära mit prägen werden.
