Rationale Irrationalität oder "Warum lehnen die Intellektuellen den Kapitalismus ab?" - Mises und Nozick als Impulsgeber für die ordonomische Rational-Choice-Analyse von Sozialstruktur und Semantik

Abstract

Ludwig von Mises hat Zeit seines Lebens die intellektuelle Auseinandersetzung mit antiliberalen und antikapitalistischen Ressentiments gesucht. Der vorliegende Beitrag greift die bereits durch Mises gestellte Frage nach möglichen Gründen für die antikapitalistischen Ressentiments der Intellektuellen auf und diskutiert mit der Position von Robert Nozick eine alternative Erklärung der marktkritischen Affekte seitens der Intellektuellen. Sodann wechselt der Beitrag die Blickrichtung und fragt, zu welchen methodologischen Überlegungen die Beiträge von Nozick und Mises den (ordonomischen) Rational-Choice-Ansatz anregen können. Mises und Nozick, so die These, verweisen in bemerkenswerter Weise auf die Bedeutung von Interdependenzen zwischen Sozialstruktur und Semantik.
